The Graduates' Association of Oswald Balzer High School in Zakopane

The Graduates' Association of Oswald Balzer High School in Zakopane was created in 2005. The idea was first put forward by Maciej Rzankowski, a 1980 graduate of our school.    When a group of friends, who also graduated in 1980, repeatedly met to organize the 25th anniversary of their graduation, they discussed the possibility of working for the benefit of their old, much cherished school.   In view of the school's rich tradition and the fact that many of its graduates have held important positions in the cultural, social and scientific life of our country, they decided to consolidate all the ex-students of the High School, to trace those scattered all over the country and the world and thus create a lobby supporting both the activities of our school and its students and graduates.   As the 100th anniversary of the founding of Oswald Balzer High School is rapidly approaching, you are cordially invited to join us in our endeavours.
